Mikurowave's parents

Born from a nucleare explosion, they found each other and through love, had a child. They gave her all the love they could and eventually had to let go.

The creation

In 1945, bombs fell upon Nagasaki and Hiroshima.

When the atomic fire faded, it left behind not just ruin and destruction, but something else.

Each bomb gave rise to a being, a creature. Born from pure radiation, grief, and divine interference, these ghosts of radiation roamed the earth, drawn to one another. To some, they appeared as angels of death, radiating and killing life on their path. To others, they were mutated humans that somehow survived. Some even believed they were incarnations of gods that came to punish humanity for creating such weapons.

But they were just new living creatures, that wanted peace.

Drawn together by the same frequency that birthed them, they found each other in a garbage dump. It was there, among trash and broken appliances, that they fell in love.

And soon enough, their love created child.

The birth of Mikurowave

But their offspring had no form, no physical body to contain its essence. It's unstable soul. In a panic, the father reached for the nearest object: a broken microwave oven, half-buried beneath trash, like rusted cans, melted wires, and a notebook labeled "Twiggie's life".

Together, the lovers infused their divine residue into this microwave, shaping it into a body. They poured most of what was left of the energy they inherited from the bombs, enough to give it motion, enough to shape it into a body, one capable of recieving the soul of their baby.

The baby didn't cry, it just let out a faint "beep, beep, beep" like it had just finished cooking.

There it was, a baby, with a microwave for its head and a few green hair on top of it. They decided to name her, Hatsune Mikurowave.

Raising a child

They had just sacrificed most of the divine energy that kept them alive, but they had never felt this happy. The mother started humming a peacefull melody, not really knowing herself where she learned it, and the father was beaming with pride, joy, and of course radiations that killed people.

Mikurowave in her childhood would only know love, they made sur of that. And when, a few years later, their time was up, when what little energy they had left was used up, they used their last words to give her a message.

"Mikurowave, you can do it, you can live on your own, have your own dreams, and achieve anything you can think of ! You never needed us, we needed you !"

Those were the last words the mother spoke.

The father just smiled as they were fading.
